國防部統計，完成鄉民返鄉160人、廢棄物（垃圾）清運161噸、街道清理258公里、路樹清理2708棵、水溝清淤3公里。?
國防部指出，因應「莫蘭蒂」颱風對台灣地區造成的影響，國軍自13日迄今，國軍累計派遣兵力1萬5849人次、車輛機具5類1949輛（部）次；協助執行民眾撤離（返鄉）2403人、沙包堆置1萬7724包、廢棄物（垃圾）清運161噸、街道清理258公里、路樹清理2708棵、水溝清淤3公里。
國防部強調，將主動協助地方政府恢復市容，並持續掌握「馬勒卡」颱風動態及可能影響地區，預作防範；明日預計派遣兵力約3200餘人，至災情嚴重地區執行災後復原任務，期讓民眾可以早日回復正常生活。1050915
